Norfolk Department of Human Services – Replaced Paper Processes That Was Preventing Timely Response to Needy

This Human Services department of the City of Norfolk, Virginia, handles several public assistance programs for needy people in their city. They handle services such as emergency assistance and food stamps. They used to require a turnaround time of four or five days to process applications for these services. The delay was causing additional hardships for disadvantaged families.
By using Laserfiche, they were able to reduced turnaround time to a single day.
